Bagasse is the fibre left after sugarcane is crushed for juice. Moulded under heat and pressure, it makes a stiff, grease-resistant box that holds hot food without going soggy.
No PFAS ('forever chemicals') are added for grease resistance. Compost it with food waste through commercial composting, or in a well-kept home compost heap.
